Today we are going to review:

#1 What is achieving goals specifically.

#2 Encompassing goals and what they can do for your life.

#3 How to achieve your goals, 10 steps.

 

First off, let me ask you a question:

Do you have a goal or several goals you’ve been thinking about for a while now?

Please write your most important goal down on a piece of paper as we are going to discuss how to get from a goal on paper to a goal becoming reality for your life.

 

WHAT IS ACHIEVING GOALS?

Achieving a goal or many goals is when you start with an idea, emotion or desire and that concludes becoming a reality in your life.

For example, you may have had a goal when you were 15 years old to get your drivers license when you become of age. When this was all said and done, you passed the class and received your drivers license. This is a goal achieved.

Another example could be that you found a wonderful partner in life that you felt would complement your passions and lifestyle. Your goal was to get married and share this common thread with that matched person and eventually you achieved this by getting your marriage certificate.

These are examples of goals that you may have achieved.

RECOGNIZING YOUR GOALS AND BENEFITS

Goals can change your life positively once you recognize them as the first step in the achievement process.

Simply realizing goals is a wonderful advantage because those who do NOT recognize them can become out of touch with day to day progress and not move forward in a goal oriented manner.

This is why I wanted you to write down your goals or goal before we proceeded. Once you have that nailed down, you can begin to move towards making that goal a reality in your life.

 

10 STEPS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS:

#1 Write down the previous goals you have already achieved.

#2 List exactly what you DID to achieve those goals individually (in other words, a step by step detailed review on how you got there).

#3 Describe the duration of each task and overall, how long it took you to accomplish each one.

#4 Now, describe in writing your future goal or goals (make a list of each one that is important to you).

#5 Next, list exactly the tasks that you will need to accomplish in order to realize each goal (make another list).

#6 Estimate how long it will take you to achieve each one of those goals you listed (be realistic and conservative).

#7 In detail, write down your game plan as to the timing of each one of those tasks to be completed.

#8 Review your lists, goals and timing of the tasks involved and edit appropriately to make it realistic.

#9 Pray over it and BELIEVE you CAN do this!

#10 Implement your plan. “PLAN YOUR WORK AND WORK YOUR PLAN!”

At this point, if you implement your plan above and follow it to the tee, you can encompass a much more productive and successful life as many others who follow me do.
